Received following e-mail today and it looks as though the meters in Castle Street and the one in Stembrook car park are now repaired.
Dianne Hopper has done well.

I don't want you to hold your breath, but the Castle Street machine is now running on battery power whilst we are waiting for a mains supply, and a new part has been placed into the machine in Stembrook, which, I am told, should sort out the coin problem.
Let me know if this is not the case, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.
