09:308424I havent heard anything about a Question Time in Dover Andy. Was it announded on air last night? I didnt catch the programme live, as got tied up watching Mary Shelleys Frankenstein. Dont ask! Have taped QT to watch later. It was from the USA and featured the US Presidential Election. But it would certainly attract interest if it arrives in Dover.

I wonder where they will hold it ? In the town hall I suppose. Get your questions ready, it would be nice to see a few faces I know in the audience

10:378428David Dimbleby said last night that Question Time will be coming from Dover on Thursday November 13.
I presume it will be at the Town Hall, although I believe the new Centre Spot at Crabble's free that night too!

15:378442Hi all...just a quick one, missus, but I thought the imminent arrival of Question Time to our fair home town would cause much more of a ripple of excitement on this forum.
The chance to get the town back on a national platform, albeit for an hour on a Thursday evening, is without doubt a great boon.
No doubt a load of bleeding-heart wet-leftie Dubris-hating Canterbury-istas (and trough-quaffing Whitfield New Town fetishists too?) will be shipped in to trot out the usual projectionist 'elephant in the room' pathology that serves Dover so badly - and unfairly - in the nation's psyche.
But, hey ho, let's hope Dimblebum's hothouse (the Maison Dieu, I presume, because the Eight Bells is double-booked that night, so I hear) comprises some 'simpatique' coves who will positively promote the cause of Douvres, should there be an opportunity to do so amid the usual yadda-yadda postulations about the bigger political 'ishoos'.
White Army (DAFC), regards all,
Andy

17:268509You missed New Party.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.
