08:029166No scenes of anywhere outside the studio, but it was as good a Question-Time as anywhere
Good to see Paul, Barry W.S. and Colette there in the audience (where were you John ?) and our Town Clerk - Mike Webb, who brought up the 1948 Olympics and the Torch coming through Dover and that it should do so again in 2012 - well said Mike.
There were also the lads from Dover Grammar School, including those who did so well with their green footprint group initiative and their "stop the plastic bag" campaign.
So many people I've never seen.

08:409168Personally I thought It was a load of c##p, Brian moore was losing the plot, probably caused by too many hard tackles. The politicians were evading the questions and blaming each other for the countries woes, which I suppose is par for the course.Apart for mike webb mentioning dover nothing else was mentioned about the place.

09:399172Oooh no no..I wouldnt say it was "a load of cr*p", it was an interesting edition. Not a sparkler but interesting. The general idea is to talk about national issues and to find out how people feel about them in different parts of the country.
Ive done a small report with pictures on the frontpage..with Mike Webb in the starring role.

09:559173I agree with Paul,it wasn't one of the best shows although very intresting, It was difficult to mention Dover because they are talking about national issues and in some cases local but not local to us.Mike's question was similar to mine that I given in ,as Dover is the natural entry point into the Country did the panel agree that the Olympic flame should come thru Dover.I was there Roger not far from the Bolands sitting by an aisle, but only saw my self 6 or 7 times but from a distance, there were obviously after the good looking ones,Collette Posh Barry Paul and Mike Webb?

09:589175It was an honour to have Question Time in Dover, as we all know the subject matter is either international news or of national importance. I'm amazed Terry that you dozed off when something of such gravitas as Question Time was here in lil ol Dover, you should have had your nap earlier

10:029176It is age Barry, you would have though having the chance to see the forumites on T.V would have kept Terry on the edge of his seat, but seriously it was a very well run show, and I thought David D was excellent and very funny before the show.

10:369177Having the joys of cable I can watch it at my leisure at a time when I am fully awake ad nauseum for the next 7 days.
Deep joy!

14:069189I thought the speakers were all good,Shirley Williams being the star,Brian Moore seemed to be on a different planet but at least he was entertaining,Margaret Beckett was buisnesslike and Simon Heffer was a Bastion of the Right wing,I even found Barry's mate Jeremy Hunt entertaining dull and short of ideas, but when you are surrounded by 2 outstanding women like Shirley and Margaret the poor lad didn't stand a chance.

20:269230first time i have watched the programme in over 20 years, seems to have improved, a lot less point scoring now.
i saw paul and posh barry looking very interested in proceedings, mike webb of course, i think i saw colette, but the camera was at an odd distance.
