Ok exceptional rain, we have had it before and will again but I have never seen Barton path flooded as much as this.
As I am typing the water is now right up to the top step.
We never had this problem before all of this river weed appeared.

As an aside, my grandson said he overheard two men from the Environment Agency saying some of the weeds were to be removed from the Dour.

I got caught dowm Town,I couldnt walk up London Road as it was flooded, headed for Morrison's and Charlton Green flooded, walk along the Dour footpath and that had burst onto the footpath.Buckland Avenue path was a river and had to walk in the road, the corner by Buckland bridge was a giant lake.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
