16:1367162I can put up with the rain so long as it isn't windy as well, if windy I will get soaked walking to work tomorrow.
I spent this morning clearing up after some of my tubs and window-boxes blew over in that wind, smashed plants in two of them.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

17:5067174Flipping typical. You've got to feel sorry for the WCCP - they had a bat walk planned at Kearsney Abbey this eve!

18:0367178They do a form of crawling leathery-shuffle on all fours Sid. As do some humans, come to think of it.
Oh, by the way, watch out for giant kittens.

07:0067200It certainly rained long and hard last night.
We had rain coming through the conservatory roof in two places and at ground floor level; the roof gulley had a leak, so rain was coming in through the roof into the loft and down the wall in the hallway.
Still wet this morning, but (apparantly) no damage done. Need to get it fixed though.

07:2467362We had the buckets out last night too and it's still raining this morning.
Our roofing guy came round yesterday afternoon to assess the damage and said he may be able to get round to fix all the leaks today - if it isn't raining all the time.

10:0067381Rain water's good for washing your hair !! And your house plants prefer it to the tap.

10:1167382Very strange. all of this wet weather and the water level along Barton path has actualy dropped.
VERY suspicious.

grass grows by the inches but dies by the feet.

15:3967417Strange how cats and dogs will only drink rainwater (even if very dirty) and don't like tap, this applies to my neighbour's dog too.
