As we have been unusually quiet on this subject I thought I would start off with the question is she a traitor or a victim as some see her.
I see her as a young woman, we all know that at 15 we understand right from wrong and can hold strong views that others might not agree with. She knowingly decided to support a group of foreign religious extremists who terrorised all who opposed them and supported and or backed bombings in this and other countries. This would have been labelled as treason in previous war situations.
From the reports I have seen she does not come across as the poor misjudged person that some believe she is. The cold way she describes the decapitated heads in bins as if that was in no way wrong struck me as frightening.
If or when she returns, as undoubtedly she will, I hope she ends up in court and is locked up for a long time.

I read the original interview in the Times and she came across as a cold fish with no sign of contrition.
The Home Secretary has said that she won't be allowed back in but if she was what could she be prosecuted for? Any crimes committed should be dealt with in the country where they were carried out in my view.

Not sure why there's a great fuss about this one. Returnees are not a new thing: around half (over 400) who left for IS have already been allowed back. It is, though, a great opportunity to manufacture a bit of outrage, sell a few papers and allow the school-kid Javid to blow hard.

I can't see there is anything they can charge her with here in the UK. She claims that she was just a housewife living in the Caliphate and if she is not telling the truth it would be very difficult to get proof and/or witnesses. I suspect that other European countries are in the same boat hence not wanting to take their own ISIS fighters back.
It seems that the Home Secretary has been talking out of his bottom and we have to take her back so a suggestion from me would be have her interviewed then have her sectioned as unstable and hand the baby over to the grandparents.

Having just watched the interview with the poor misunderstood child on Sky News I suspect it's only a matter of time before there is a campaign for her face appears on a new £50 note. My heart bleeds. As a society we are ALL guilty.
