10:3440758Some UK prisoners of war in the Far East had their testicles crushed by the Japs to get information. Depsite the best efforts of Geneva Conventions, UN Legislation etc., when it comes to it, the rules just get ignored. Whatever we feel about torture, and it's legitimate use, there will always be those who go too far.
I understand the arguments for dealing with terrorists, but there are other ways to deal with them that don't involve torture.
Much better to ban it altogether and impose a mandatory death sentence on those who choose to use it.
