11:506807....ON Communication.
Mike Webb can be seen in the picture below on right, taken on way to the Mayor's service.
Mike Webb states...
"As you know, I am not in a position to post on the forum. However, I would like to bring to you attn a recent posting from Howard McSweeney (following Vic's unique view of the way that the Town Council operates.)
Not for the first time, and as previously pointed out, Howard (whom I know) claims that he has had no reply from his enquiries to the Town Council. Again I have checked. Again I confirm that I, personally, have received no communication from him of any kind. Further, this office has no record of any communication from him.
Perhaps you would put the record straight. "

i was told some time back on here that there was a problem with e mails at the town council for some time.
a recent few e mails have been started, but this has only been over the past few months.
now, back to the main issue, how do we find out attendance records of town councillors?

Howard if you get the attendance records of the town councillors we would obviously be interested in seeing them on here. I feel sure you will get an answer to your query now, so perhaps an email right now would be the way forward.

01:097452Why not write (pen and paper job) to the town council requesting that attendance figures by put on the agenda at a full council meeting. You will then get a reply stating when it will be discussed and can attend to hear the outcome.
Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.

I am rather intrested to know how you 'stuck it through the front door', as I have looked, and have also spoken to the Town Clerk, this building has NO letter box.
I have a meeting at the Council Office on Tuesday, so if you email me a copy of the letter I will pass it on for you.

16:498499Yes I had a bit of a conversation with the Town Clerk himself today and this topic came up in passing...and Stewart has shot my fox a bit there but I did note down the points Mike Webb raised and here they are in quotes...
"
1. Untrue that anyone can put a letter through the door of the building as there is no letter box.
2. Every letter that reaches us is registered and dealth with and they havent had any such letter from Howard.
"
So there we are. Thats how the story stands right now.

17:468511It is right to say there is no letter box at all on the town council offices, for security reasons
