We may all have differing views on whether or not the Romanian refugee's shoiuld or should not be in the country, but nothing can justify the two teenagers who it is stated terrorised them.
On top of this COMBAT 18 has now issued a statement threatening the romanians.
This is not the way to conduct ourselves, and should be condemned

I couldn't agree more but until the general public are better informed about the Romanians plight then this type of mindless violence will continue.

I do fully agree, when we were in the height of the problems here in priory I learnt a great deal.
What was obvious was the many authorities dealing with the issue was as much misinformed as everyone else.
I recall informing the authorities that in the local houses being used, threy had factions of people who were at war with each other, then placed them in same house, then wondered why when the social workers went home at 5pm why these people took baseball bats to each other.
There were many other misguided things done, but i did learn a lot from it.
I hope that we all can learn

Brian
Are you saying its correct and all ok to intimidate , bully, and terify these people?
To my mind no matter what the rights/wrongs of them being here we are supposed to be a caring, civilised country.
well Brian wots your thoughts?
Brian: the alternative to do-gooders is do-badders. What would you prefer?

Do-gooders, do-badders, one in the same to me.
I thought we were talking about a group of vulnerable people who had been subjected to violent acts of racism forcing them from their homes (again). On British soil, allegedly. Proud, very proud..............

getting back to the original post, i am astonished that combat 18 still exist.
thought that they dispapeared in the eighties at the latest.
they used to have highly secret manouvres at night near where is used to live on the edge of epping forest.
they used to park at a dog walking spot at sunset, disappearing into the forest with bags that contained their ss uniforms.
gave us locals a good laugh anyway.

They are a veru serioius outfit howard, one we should worry about(if we care for others) They never went away just diffrent factions all split up and group became smaller and more violent.

Why was Romania allowed to join the EU in the first place if these people are still being persecuted in their own country.? I thought that the new entrants(countries) to the EU were supposed to clean up their act in regard to ethnic minorities as a condition of joining. Obviously they have not done so hence the influx of Roma people to our shores, or are they coming here for different reasons.!!!!?

that is my understanding of the condition of countries joining the eu.

combat 18 have claimed responsibilty for many things, usually disregarded by the authorities.
there may well be one or two dangerous people, but most are just walter mitty characters that fantasise
about having power over people.
a lot joined the territorial army until they discovered that they could be sent to iraq.

I WOULD LIKE to believe your correct, but im afraid quite a large number of combat 18 persons are violent and wouldnt have it any other way.
Combat 18 thugs are the types who start their careers by pulling the wings off flies, graduate to skinning small mammals alive and then join Combat 18 with a bunch of other violent fantasists. Grotesquely funny and ridiculous, but still dangerous simply because they are so deluded and without social controls or moral brakes. If they didn't belong to something like Combat 18 they would find another "validated" outlet for their peurile desires.

Quite right, but they progress to humans.
It would be funny if it was not so serious, they are brain washed and dangerous, and violent.
