If DDC Planning are so minded, despite the 200 plus objections to the proposed drive-in McDonald's 24 hour foodery that will be immediately adjacent to this church ruin and covering partly the former church graveyard, then McDonald's should be forced to a trade off by agreeing to pay in total,as part of any consent given, for protective railings to be placed right around the Tidy Ruin in order to secure it against intrusions by customers and other unwelcome visitors.Even now the site is a longtime victim to graffiti, litter and all sorts of other anti social desecrations.Railings were after all first recommended there nearly ten years ago.
