Howard, Yes of course it is and Humphy probably more likely that they have no idea what council does what and don't get any further with the flyers. I am still waiting for the candidate to promise world peace and an end to global poverty. So many of those flyers for Town Council, especially the party ones, make great claims on roads, infrastructure and national economic policies you have to wonder if they have any understanding of which council they are running for. There are lots of factors to blame for it, the media being quick to cover cost rises but negligent in covering positive developments and initiatives, voter apathy and councils that do not promote themselves in a way that voters can understand among them. However if you put a fact sheet through every door you will still hear people the next day saying they knew nothing about it. If someone can think of a sure way of reaching everyone we would all love to hear about it.
