Ian, it must still worry you, I don't think for one moment that all the effort you have made to bring the diabolical state of the Dour to the attention of the authorities can just disappear. I know you had bad experiences ( other people are very quick to take credit when it is not due) but it must be soul destroying to see the uncoordinated efforts right on your doorstep, so to speak.

It's ok Lesley, after over 26 yrs of trying to look after the Dour it's in accountable hands now so to speak.
Having lived along side of it for 37yrs now it's good to know I no longer have to deal with it. But I do still care.
The biggest annoyance is still the boozing and the drug dealing that goes on along the Barton path, I don't report things any more as no one seems to care or wants to know, I just ignore it all now along with the neighbours.
Life goes on.

The Dour by Morrisons looks better already with a lot of silt already gone, had a nice chat to Ted this morning while he was on looksee.

Thanks Ted, looks like it is past its usefulness.
Hmm! Halfords adjoining and tyres I wonder if there is a connection, this is not an accusation just wondering.

One hell of a pong in my area this morning, it is either from the disturbed silt or someone is muck spreading.

Noticed the Dour was very high around Buckland Bridge / The Bull last night. Saturday's rain passing through?
