sadly barry is right in his first 2 paragraphs.

the members of the euro are hamstrung by interest rates set by the central bank, each member state goes through different economic phases.

a lot of countries in the eurozone have a great majority of citizens living in rented property and employed by multinationals.

in the uk we are completely different to the above.

one size does not fit all.

the 2 major parties differ on attitude to the euro, but at the end of the day, neither will stand up to the bundesbank.
