Thought that you might be interested in this locomotive -one of 2 'Austerity" Hunslet 18" locomotives to work in the Kent Coalfield-and it survives albeit in bits on the Stainmore Heritage railway at Kirkby Stephen.Pictured whilst still in ticket at Chesterfield in 2008. The other a Hudsell Clark machine submitted to the scrapman at Betteshanger in I believe 1971.

The other 2 steam survivors are Avonsides St Thomas (gate guard at the Dover Transport Museum) and St Dunstan awaiting lottery funding on the East Kent Railway.
