  I know Vic is quite able to defend him self and his intentions are clearly what he believes is right for his beloved Dover .I can also see where Marek is coming from .Andy I know you were defending Vic however dont put all councillors under one umbrella .In our own way we all try to do what we can for the people of all the District .Im busy enough with my patch and also keepimg an eye on others .Im constantly reporting various problems as I peer from the bus window .Jobs are done but they dont make headlines in Dubris or anny other newspaper article .
  I support events as an ordinary resident and sometimes officially .
  My community is very dear to me but I dont need to get headlines .
  Dover does look sad but like I said on another thread why dont a few residents do something about it .
  How much effort does ot take to pick up litter or plant a few floweres we could have a glorious Forum fund raising event .
  Many councillors are Community Councillors and its there task to help in the community .
  Having said all this I cannot help at the River Fayre as DDC duties call me to Walmer Green
