  iN THE 1950S YOU COULD BUY FOUR CANS OF THE VERY BEST BEANS FOR WHAT IS NOW 5P.
  bEANS on toast ,we had it alot but not with butter I still like it today, also a great dish in the army, we would say"The army march,s on a tin of beans" The good old days.
