    Chris
Me make accusations? as if !!!!
Can't believe you have ,meetings EVERY friday evening, but maybe you do!!

The Labour party does NOT have a whip, but as iv said it does meet to decide which LABOUR candidate i wishes to put forward, I can see nohing wrong with that, all those that stand under the LABOUR banner should have the support of the LABOUR PARTY
what cant happen is everyone in the labour party works there socks off to get labour cllrs elected ans as soon as they get elected they act as indies.
My view has always been if you stand as labour candidate they you do have to abide as you every ;labour candidate has signed to do, under labour party rules.
Of course I HAVE no problems with other parties standing and thats democracy, but all i say is that every group meets at every council level to discuss agenda's etc I also can see no problem with that.

But on working together I know a number of indies and labour cllrs work for Dover jointly which can happen.
Iv been at town council meetings where David Hannant has supported Gordon cowan and visa virsa
which you would think wouldn't happen, but shows it can.

The labour party will be campaigning as it does all the year round(not just election time) to elect as many cllrs as possible and im sure the indies will target some seats.#
and of course now even the tories are getting in on taking seats on the town council from the indies.

    so its all looking good.

I know that David H /Chris do understand democracy as they are not silly, what it is realy about is numbers, at the moment the Indies are unable to get there numbers any higher than they are, and wihout that they will be outvoted by the higher number of labour cllrs, that is democracy,

Chris, i would be happy to attend one of your OPEN indy meetings!!
