Speaking out is what she has done, it will probably cost her her cabinet post.
but lets wait for Sue and/or the leader to give a firm view

Im still on the cabinet .It is completely healthy to have challenges inside or outside of the cabinet .It makes people think .I was out numbered when the vote was taken but we can all agree to disagree,
When many people ask me to put their views across then I will do so .
How drab if the cabinet was all greyand full of yes people .
I will continue to work hard in my role within housing .
Howard I have friends on both sides .I dont tell lies .
Sid youalways liked to stir me old mate .
Your other side kick is an excellent councillor .??

Hi Sue, you've got me there I must admit. I'm a lot of things, not as some would paint but a stirrer? Maybe. It's good to know my old sidekick is doing well and I do think that he is an excellent councillor [and Labour to boot], I saw him chair a Planning meeting before I left and was impressed. Hopefully that he is good is partly down to once being part of a double act that included me.
That I broke the news didnt mean I was rubbing my hands in glee though, keep in there Sue. You're right, the council isn't served well by just yes men/ women.

I well remember those days Sid /.I called you my boys .You friend has done very well .I like to think a few of my ideals rubbed off on him .I think he is very good at Planning .Still Planning should never be about politics ,thats why I have been consistent re my views on the TV screen .

I had a big 'falling out' over a planning issue once when I was on the council. Sue was very kind at the time and even sent me a Christmas card that year, so I'd echo what John has said in the past about getting on with others from different parties.
