- 9 June 2010 18:5355689That is the point Bern - recessions always come and go but what is important is that the country is in a fit state to be able to handle the recession, stimulate growth, without compounding a problem for later. The UK was in the worse state of any G20 country at the beginning of the recession and it is the aftermath of that we must deal with before the next cyclical recession hits or we will be back on the slide again,.
