Well on we go. The goal is to exchange two million public sector jobs for one million new skilled jobs in manufacturing and related services and one million additional jobs created as a result lower personal taxes and reduced business taxation and regulation. I can not say as a person, I fully agree with parts of that it is a lot of jobs to lose, again it is the UKIP policy but I do not have to agree with all of it.
Cut council tax by scrapping Eu laws like the landfill tax that cost each district council in the land £3 million p.a..
Replace the EUs Value added Tax with a local sales Tax, collected in the same way,but with a proportion going direct to councils,so that local authorities rase at least half their income from local taxes.

i would go along with that vic.
the landfill tax just makes dumping rubbish in beauty spots more appealing.
the sales tax sounds good, not sure about your first paragraph though, would need to study this closely.

sorry about that I had to rest the eyes,
Normally allow a standard 50%of Unform Business Rate collected in a local area to be paid direct to the appropriate local council, with the remaining 50%to be paid centrally.
Abolish inheritance Tax at the earliest opportunity,as this is a small tax with major implications for all but the relatively wealthy.
Stop the tax and welfare system penalising married and unmarried couples.
Scrap up to 120.000 Eu directives and regulations that impact on the UK economy. In particular. UKIP would repeal the forthcoming AIFM Directive that threatens hedge funds in the City of London, and the temporary Workers Directive that threatens Britains flexible economy.UKIP would also scrap the EUs proposed direct taxes and make sure financial regulation is returned to UKcontrol. More tomorrow night thank you vic Matcham
A couple of very astute comments there from Alexander regarding the European Union. It still amazes me that anyone can still believe that this corrupt institution is any good for the UK.
As for changing the EU from within, forget it. You`d have more chance of turning the Mafia into a collection agency for Mother Teresa than altering the operational chicanery of the EU.

Brian, with due respect to freedon of speech, does your standard motto imply that people who don't want the e.u. system do not like Europe?

From Lord Pearson to me by email tonight.
The EU and the Economy,He must be looking in on my post about the Economy I am doing,so tonight I will write out what he has said.
"It is dishonest to talk about repairing our economy without mentioning the colossal cost of our EU membership"
In 2008, the latest year for which the Government statistics are available:
The Grovernment spent:£7070billion.
Less what it raised in tax:£540billion =
a resultant"deficit2of £167billion.
A. The TaxPayers "Alliance estimates the overrall cost of our EU membership at "£120billion per annum(over-regulation,loss of our fishing, extra food costs of £1000 per family per annum, etc)
Of this ,in 2008, £16.4 billion went in CASH to Brussels.
£16.4billion pa= £45 million pounds aday(gross)-our slogan
£45million per day pays for 2,125 nurses, for a year at £21.000pa, So "For the money we send the EU every day ,we could pay the annual salaries of 2,125 nurses.
The Email goes on to say this.
But Brussels gives back some of what we send(£billion per annum for our farmers)If this point is raised, the folling are the net cash figures:
In 2008 the Government says we sent to Brussels netcash of £6.0billion from public expenditure would send the economy into disaster.
The net cash for this year is estimated at £9.7 billion.
To "earth"this figure for the voters, £9.7billion= £26 million per day, which pays for 1,225 nurses a day,So the net cash we are sending this year to Brussels, never to see any of it again, pays for 21,225 nurses a day. There is more to this email and i will write it out tomorrow night. Thank you.
