22:0240446the ukip manifesto as detailed her by our victor is very little different to the policies i have heard from the blues.
not surprising as that is where their votes will come from.
the only clear difference that i can see is a promise on a referendum regarding the european union.

14:2640573i am impressed victor, a press officer indeed.
the leaderships must see possibilities in our constituency, probably looking at the local council elections next year though for any real success.

22:0940714Short memory Howard? Remember the planned coup that came into effect once Labour won the Mayor of London election? Red Ken wasn't elected as Leader, he stole it.
I also seem to recall some strange accounting practices being used to cover up unwarranted travel expenses.

22:3440720are you saying that the election was rigged sid?
the only planned coup that i remmber with him was when the reds won the greater london council back in the stone age with a so called moderate candidate.

18:4440911It was myself who asked Lord Pearson to come to Dover,he is not seeking anything he does not have to,but I feel it would help us to have his support and to see for himself the port and what we are trying to do,and that is to try and stop the port from being sold off.

00:2640936Old Pankhurst must be turning in her grave knowing what hell and torment she and her followers went through in order that women could obtain the right to vote and then find that less than a century later it was being fritttered away by voting for a no hope party with very little to offer the public other than sound bites and tabloid grabbing headlines .Vote UKIP and waste a vote. God give me strength to continue.....

09:0540956Well done Marek!!!!
I've been wanting to say that for ages but didn't because thought I'd be accused of Vic bashing lol.
You echo my thoughts exactly - why anyone would vote for Walter Mitty - erm sorry - is beyond me. To my mind if you don't vote red or blue it's hardly worth doing it at all. This thread is all about ego boosting Mr M.
By the way Marek - I'm so glad you still post on the forum, love your wisdom and the way you tell it like it is

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

09:1940959Again thank you you for your post,s it is nice to hear from both sides, but at my age why would I be ego boosting? but if that is how you see it that is OK with me.Thank you.
Q/time tonight on B.B.C. one with Mr N Farage of UKIP on it has been cancelled I do not know why.

Thanks for your comments. I agree sometimes the truth hurts but at least one has to be honest about one's politics. Vic has joined every political party going and any that would accept him into their fold. I suppose he means well for Dover and its residents but on a national and world stage UKIP don't stand a cat in hells chance of making any type of meaningful contribution.
I admire BarryW and Roger as they stick to their party and its beliefs, misguided but loyal, the only party Vic hasn't been a member of is the WI and the Monster Raving Loony Party....pity really as I think he has a lot in common with both of these organisations.
But at least he hasn't lost his sense of humour...
