20:0687356I have had a look at the Maxton ElmsVale and Priory ward in 2007 Roger got in with 624 Mrs Munt with 647, And Keith with the bigest of them all 733,I was not in anyparty then and I got 243,someway behind them,but lets look at them again that was 243 that voted for me not a party,the Leb/dems got beween the two of them 587,now next time I could get their votes added to my 273 making 820+ some ex because I am now in UKIP,I could take this seat this time.

added to your 243 u would still come last
but you have to think about reality
the lib dem vote will go mainly to labour and ukip and some to the tories
thus your vote wont rise that much
and other partries vote will also increase
we have lacked any vision from ukip/ and the lib dems over the years
only turning up at election time
25 years ago they were very active in the ward

but iv re checked the result and the lib dems had 3 candidates for the 3 seats
there are 3 seats if you didnt know vic(but u should know)
you cant add the votes together of the 3 lib dems thats not how it works

22:3587391Vic you said there were 2 Libs there were 3,you may also take into account that some people voted for all 3 Lib,so you can add the votes together and add them to your vote,if the Libs collapsedthe most there would be (on the 2007 election) is 381 add them all to you (unlikely) and you would in fact get the same number as Roger 624.
That is providing they all voted for you and Roger didn't get any extra votes and if the 3 Labour Cllrs didn't increase thier vote,and I know who the 3 Labour Cllrs are and they are quite well known and some have a big personal vote.
My prediction at the moment is 3 Labour seats or 2 plus Roger but Labour will take 3 of the top 4 followed by the 2nd and 3rd Tory,with You and the 3 Libs(if they can find 3) trailing well behind.
If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
