Bettshanger car show was on today,a great day out,some lovely cars there and a big turn out of them.The types of cars that many of us drove to destruction in our earlier years and thought nothing of it.

With all the road closures I wonder where all the cars will go.?
Around this way , and I'm sure many others there isn't enough room for the cars now .

I think you will find that the residents of each road have applied for the closure, so I'd hope that they would be ok with the closure?

Must say we both like the food outlets on the Curve and good events on this week and top of the list happens on thursday from 11am to 11 pm but at times like Sunday band down there but no public because of stack up they could not get there even the band was late

Baton relay details

Where: Dover Castle
Time: 5.30pm - 9pm
At the top of the White Cliffs of Dover there will be a spitfire flypast between 6.45pm and 7.05pm. This will be followed with a celebration event at Dover Castle. A party is being held for 2,500 guests hosted by Dover District Council and English Heritage with music and entertainment.
This is a ticketed event and all tickets are now allocated. The finale of the party will feature the Band of The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment and, as the event comes to a close at 9pm, the Great Tower will be lit up in patriotic red, white, and blue.

The Red Arrows are over Folkestone at about 5.00pm so may be spotted here.
Also the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight around noon.

Dover's game on Saturday 10th has been moved to a 1.00pm kick off without any reason given. There is a suggestion of a protest in the town?

Excellent food festival today at Deal Castle green area to Marine Rd. Also vintage buses on show & offering local rides by Walmer Green & on The Strand. Place buzzing.
