A bit spooky that after I'd justed posted the words to Nellie the Elephant on another thread it was played while Vic was on screen.
Good on you Vic. And you put up with all that patronising from those ghastly women as well. I wanted to smack them on your behalf! But nice one! - well done mate!

And for future reference - how do you get those horrible advertisements off and get straight to the podcast..?!!

Well I guess I am more relieved that this is over than either Mick & Vic were. I have not the slightest further interest.
You both did very well indeed and good on you both for giving it a go (when you were permitted so to do) you showed the rest up as the plonkers they are.
I do hope that you have pleasant memories and a bit of TV footage for the grand children. Well done.
That's that then...until Peter & Keith and/or Colette and Bern give it a shot?

Tom, they couldn't handle a Colette/Bern combo, trust me!
I just wanted to say a well done again to the guys. Tom is right, you behaved in such a dignified way it revealed the others lack of class. Nice one guys.

Indeed, Vic and Mick came over very well, with great dignity. Well done indeed for dynamism and adventure in taking part.

If all the contestants were as civilised and dignified as Mick and Vic, perhaps the viewing figures for the programme would be higher. I thought they kept their end up very well, congratulations to them.

Well done guys, I tuned in to see you both each day and I must say you were as others have said 'perfect gentlemen' you done Dover proud
Ah! Tom, I don't think coach trip are quite ready for a dynamic duo like Bern and I
They would have to change the whole dynamics of the show
Now as for Peter and Keith, well the mind boggles

No Peter, the viewing figures would be lower, that's the whole point of the show to get people at each other's throats (not that I'm a fan, it just happens to be on after Come Dine With Me before switching over to the evening news

)

As Vic apparently is no longer a member of the forum, he has asked me to express his thanks and appreciation for all the positive sentiments expressed on here concerning his coach odyssey.

Saw Vic late morning - in his shorts; he was quite well and mentioned the Coach trip, but as I haven't seen it, I couldn't comment.
He said he was going along to Blakes for their superb Liver and Bacon lunch.

The post I have now deleted was not written by me. I know who it was and have dealt with the matter. I apologise to Terry and anyone else this has offended. I have now changed my password so it won't happen again. I have been out all day and only saw all this this evening when I came online earlier. As far as I'm concerned this is the only forum I have any interest in so if it were not for all this I wouldn't even be aware of it all.
I hope my fellow forumites will accept my apology.
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I assume that you refer to me Jacqui as the one who is still on here. If you care to look at DoverLocals you will see that Vic has "slagged off" no-one.

Lets not exacerbate this...we dont need a LIVE link to this kind of stuff Terry. Its a regular occurence as I understand it. Bit of a shame but there we are.

Good to hear that Mick did get his shot at the Zorbing.
