both right, used to be called the flotilla and firkin i believe.
one of terry's school chums drinks in there until 2.30 pm every saturday then goes to the malvern and drinks there until 4.30 p.m.
all on his bus route so that he does not need to drink and drive.

It was the first place that I stayed at in Dover. I paid off a ship in Erith and came down to Dover to see an old shipmate who was the landlord of the Dover Tavern as it was then. Exactly 40 years ago yesterday 16/8/71 and I have been here ever since.
Bill Stone now lives in Folkestone and comes across every Tuesday for a drink, he was in there with me on Tuesday.
