Correct Ian, nothing to do with the United Reformed Church though, now one in Folkestone.

That is Folkestone Methodist church in Sandgate Road Folkestone.
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Darren is right with the location, the name of the road is different to the one that Brian gives. I took this over a year ago so I will leave it to Ian when he logs in to confirm as he is very strong on that part of town.

It is still Green lane as it runs along and continues up the path past the bmx track. I have always known that path and the hill upto the railway bridge as Green Lane.

The houses are in Cleveland Close, the road is Green Lane, picture taken from the eastern gradient of the Melbourne Avenue Roundabout.
Darren is correct, Green Lane stretches from its junction with Whitfield and Brookfield Avenues, up to its junction with Melbourne Avenue, almos opposite Archers Court (AC) School - or whatever it is called these days - was AC when I attended 1957/61!
