08:3013439It has just occurred to me this very minute that we havent heard from our oul friend Marek in a while. Where is he? Where is he lurking?
Has he gone to Manilla for a thrilla, but probably no as he usually does stories for us from there when he does go. Perhaps has has the dreaded flu runniing through many of us this bleak midwinter. it is particulalry bleak this midwinter I thinkso anyway or is it just me
But anyway Marek get back on as soon as...we need yer input..and the oul politics thread isnt the same without your leftie comments.

Marek has not been well for a couple of weeks with the dreaded virus thing that was flying around, and he has also had major problems with his internet server.
I saw him on Saturday when he dropped Natascha off, and I can confirm that it was looking like he would be sorted with his internet sometime this week, so hopefully we won't have to wait to long before the chirpy chappy is back with his quick wit and humour.

12:0013483We all miss Marek because he's interesting, humerous and factual in his posts. He doesn't argue he just answers questions with fact. He also doesn't pass judgement on other posters if they disagree with him. That's why we miss him.

As Mandie has stated both Natascha and myself have been under the weather but my lack of posting was thanks to BT who provide my line. It's a long story but after various multiple calls to Bombay I am glad to report the line will be up and running next Tuesday 27/1.Apparently my monthly contributions towards their profits was paying for some other sods account.They have now updated my account but not before cutting me off followed by all manner of threats eventually followed by an apology and a sizeable reimbursement from them.I am using a friends computer at present but will be back up and running next week at full throttle.
Jeane as of this morning I have lost a stone in weight but still plenty to go.I don't miss the grub but do miss the old pint of ale.
So as the new US President Mr Barney O'Bama would say "Top of the morning to you all and I have missed you all in my absence".

ps I threw out the answering machine together with my wifes new fangled cordless beam me up scotty handsets as they were driving me round the twist plus although the caller could hear my phone ringing I couldn't and eventually it stopped working completely either accepting or making calls.Its enough to drive a sane man crazy luckily I don't qualify as sane.
