11:4311435May I just say a Happy and healthy Christmas and New Year to ALL the people who get up early to go to work, work all night and who have to work through the holiday to keep things running - especially the emergency services, police, hospitals etc.
Vic you are not the only one who works long hours. Just read the post from Mouse on the open letters thread about the hours her husband works as a DHB police officer. If you're looking for sympathy look elsewhere - you don't have to work!!
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

12:1811436Jacqui, thank you for that I love my work geting to old now, and like doing the hours I do, alot of that is geting to and from the place where the work is sometimes this could be around trip of over 200miles I have done this most of my life and would find it hard to stoped I am not looking for any sympathy of any kind but I do feel sorry for my wife she always has a meal ready for me at all times and still gets her cup of tea at 03.30hrs in the morning, steel work is hard work out in all weathers sometimes high up but all the time I can do it I will, +I still need the cash that goes with it.
I only know you on the forum and do like your posting and was happy when you came back.
I do wish you and your family A merry Xmas and a good new year.
Thank you. Vic mATCHAM

16:3911441Vic maybe if you stopped wasting your money on elections you know you won't win then you could retire gracefully and give your poor long suffering wife the sleep she needs and deserves. No good moaning about everything if you're not prepared to do anything about it. If you really are working because you need the money then why waste it on stupid things that are a waste of money? Spend it on your wife for goodness sake!!!

sadly, there are some that join the gravy train of victor bashing as it is appears to be fashionable.
he takes all the personal insults and always acts the gentleman, makes fools of some of his detractors

I'm afraid can't agree on this one, whilst I disagree on many subjects Vic may raise, I n fact many Idon't read.
I defend his right to post.
Vic is a chracacter, very few around these days.
I'v told vic both on 1 to 1 and on here to pack up standing at elctions as it does him no credibity, but again he has the right to do so(as do people have the right not to vote for him!!)
