Anyone seen him lately? He was very visible when first elected, somebody suggested he's got bored with his constituency since he got promoted.
Somebody else suggested he signed the petition to deflect his lack of achievement towards DDC, bit cynical I think but the person who said that is pretty well informed.

You trying to troll the Torys ;) I think like the Reds they have gone from here? On a more serious note just seen Tim Interviewed and he is 100% sure he will still be manager next season!!! I am watching the Bootleg Beatles at the Marlowe tonight so will not have to suffer our 2nd string on ITV4

he was very active in his first year both on the box promoting dover in general and the then proposed hospital in particular and in town.
since then he seems to have become a westminster politician, asking endless questions in the house and seems to have his sights set on higher things.

I'm trying to troll everyone Martin, divide and conquer
Yes Tim seems confident Martin but I don't think he has a chance. Not sure whether to watch Spurs or wash my hair tonight.
Hard to disagree Howard, his gain is our loss it seems

Charlie works his arse off for Dover, much of what he does is constituency work on behalf of individuals and therefore can't be used for PR purposes. Those who criticise should try walking a mile in his shoes.
Cheap shot, David.

You seem very defensive Peter, I was merely passing on the thoughts of others.
Jan, looks like you've caught me with my pants down.

charlie never stops electioneering on twitter and facebook with his blue good, red bad mantra - reminds of "animal farm" with the four legs good, two legs bad bit.

David, you may call me defensive, but I would be among the first to defend you against unwarranted personal attacks.

Peter, what I've posted is hardly a personal attack, admittedly it could be described as goading. I have to say that your response, as someone pretty close to Charlie, confirms the point I was making.
Methinks there's a bit of sensitivity and concern seeping out from Elphicke Towers.
It could be worse of course, he could be Grant Shapps who scored a massive own goal yesterday.

Sorry David, I didn't mean your attack was personal, I was referring to Brian's input. Yours was just political.

David, I will always back up my friends and I number both you andCharlie among them. Please don't put me in a difficult position by attacking other friends. It will not win you votes. UKIP probably has my vote for the euro elections but I shall not make up my mind about the general election until May 2015.

Thanks for that Peter, I was being mischievous rather than personal, apologies if I misunderstood your original post.
Your last line is telling, it shows that there are thousands of votes up for grabs, I said when I was selected that the least I hoped to achieve was to get Charlie to up his game, if his friends are wavering I'd say he'll have to.
The tribalists on both sides (I'd say that accounts for 40% of the electorate, 20% each side) are untouchable, but that leaves plenty. A good euro result will give voters confidence and send the Tories into panic having to fight on two fronts. The same applies to the reds who hadn't bargained for it.

Being mischievous can come back to haunt you, do it selectively.
My last line shows that there is 1 vote up for grabs. Don't assume that you are dealing with sheep.

David, I also stand by my post 6. Perhaps you ought to ask to shadow an MP for a week to see what an MP actually does.

Peter it's about perception, Charlie is quick to trumpet the new hospital when it's nothing more than a clinic. We've done regeneration to death - what has Charlie done to help?
I'd like to dig out his leaflets from 2010 and see what he pledged
