    Well, he may be right, JB; I'm not questioning that. But his history of factual inaccuracies, memory lapses, and the heroising of his own place in police history, does rather undermine his credibility.

    My point is that any campaign he attaches himself to may be left open to a charge that it's run by cranks, thus underming its case. Best leave it to more level-headed people.
