  Talking of the wonderfully sanctimonious Bono who remembers the time he was doing a show in Glasgow and started clapping his hands slowly then in a pious voice he shouted "every time I clap my hands a child dies in Africa" to which a wag in the audience shouted back "well stop f*****g doing it you evil b*****d."
  
  Admittedly there is doubt about the veracity but nice to think it actually happened.
