Greek debt
- 14 March 2015 12:19279791Things are getting desperate and there seems little chance of them paying off so now they are claiming that they are 400 billion euros by Germany as war reparation. Could set off a chain of similar claims.

On both occassions they have accepted the terms... So to come up now is a very stupid thing to do and makes the government in Greek looks stupid and desperate... its a bit like poker i guess...

18 June 2015 14:51283537With the huge amount of funds that Russia has stashed away in Greek banks in Cyprus it is very probable Howard but they are also masters of manipulating others to achieve their aims.
Many of the 'migrants' crossing the Mediterranean sea to Greece and Italy appear to be young, healthy, and physically fit so is the Royal Navy ferrying some of them across and being unwittingly used as a tool. (Landing the advanced party of the ISIS fighters)..
This old Greek legend comes to mind!

Long queues formed outside banks with people fearful that the Central bank will stop people withdrawing their money. One of the main sticking points has been pensions. The rate is quite high for one of the poorer countries in Europe but in many cases pensioners are subsidising younger members of families who are unemployed.

27 June 2015 19:32283809I have just been speaking to someone in Deal who has a repossession for his house dated this Tuesday.
Apparently he has done little about paying off his mortgage and whenever he has got into arrears his Building Society has foolishly allowed him to re-mortgage in spite of the fact that he does nothing to balance his expenditure against his income.
He has now told his Building Society that he will hold a referendum on the matter next Sunday.
I can't see what might possibly go wrong ........

Then I thought why not apply this to the Greeks predicament and they would not go hungry.
So with the Greek population being rather more than five thousand Mr Tsipras could perhaps find a way to increase the amount of fish and loaves of bread proportionately to the population of Greece.
