Unfortunately a lot of innocent people are caught up in this and even the Daily Mail appears shocked.

What it needs is for any really well known Muslims from sport and entertainment were to refuse to go to the USA while this daft ban is enforced, it would also help if American Muslim stars refused to perform.

I hear that all countries on the list are planning to refuse all further foreign aid from the USA in protest.
Still, at least he is targetting the countries who are most threat to his citizens?

By incredible coincidence the President has business interests in Saudi Arabia as well as Egypt and Turkey(not on the list).

I see that Mo Farah, the only Somali to have done anything of any use to anyone on the planet ever in the history of that useless country (and that was merely running faster than some other people!) has now waded in to the debate!

Will those in the military also be affected by the ban and will they 'demonstrate their feelings on it's implications?

Here's a map showing where people are signing the on-line petition to ban Trump from the UK.
Outraged of Totnes and Brighton it would appear! They are fewmin (whilst at the same time weaving a macrobiotic wall out of discarded LGBT muesli to keep him out). Bless!

Mo Farah's Facebook statement......
"On 1st January this year, Her Majesty The Queen made me a Knight of the Realm. On 27th January, President Donald Trump seems to have made me an alien.
I am a British citizen who has lived in America for the past six years - working hard, contributing to society, paying my taxes and bringing up our four children in the place they now call home. Now, me and many others like me are being told that we may not be welcome. It’s deeply troubling that I will have to tell my children that Daddy might not be able to come home - to explain why the President has introduced a policy that comes from a place of ignorance and prejudice.
I was welcomed into Britain from Somalia at eight years old and given the chance to succeed and realise my dreams. I have been proud to represent my country, win medals for the British people and receive the greatest honour of a knighthood. My story is an example of what can happen when you follow polices of compassion and understanding, not hate and isolation.".....

Apparently the US only takes in as refugees women and children(and I do mean children) so any terrorist threat is highly unlikely. A Yazidi woman who has been held prisoner by ISIS and raped incessantly has now been refused entry and been returned to whence she came.

This whole farce is what happens when people provide simplistic solutions to complex problems.
Unfortunately with 'defeating' ISIS, like 'stopping' immigration, you are dealing with a multi faceted and many layered problem where whatever you do there will be unintended consequences.
Thank God we have a Civil Service in the UK, who whilst satirised in Yes Minister, will restrain elected officials from implementing cunning plans of Baldrickian stupidity.

Breaking News 16.00 29/1
'Prime Minister Theresa May has told her foreign secretary and home secretary to contact their US counterparts about a travel ban imposed by President Trump.
Boris Johnson and Amber Rudd will make representations about the order barring refugees and visa holders from seven Muslim majority countries for 90 days.
Earlier Mr Johnson tweeted it was "divisive and wrong" to stigmatise people on the basis of nationality.' BBC News

Shocking from Theresa May. I guess Brexit means.....begging in the gutter to anyone and everyone who will give us something resembling a so called trade deal.

Advice issued by the Foreign Office said:
The presidential executive order only applies to individuals travelling from one of the seven named countries
If you are travelling to the US from anywhere other than one of those countries, including the UK, the executive order does not apply to you and you will experience no extra checks regardless of your nationality or your place of birth
If you are a UK national who happens to be travelling from one of those countries to the US then the order does not apply to you even if you were born in one of those countries
If you are a dual citizen of one of those countries travelling to the US from outside those countries then the order does not apply to you
The only dual nationals who might have extra checks are those coming from one of the seven countries themselves - for example a UK-Libya dual national coming from Libya to the US
Move along. Nothing to worry about here.

16 countries won't admit people with Israeli passports - do I hear outrage and see marches?
Incidentally the 16 countries have one thing in common.

Rather more complex than 16 countries won't admit Israeli passport holders!
Israel won't allow it's citizens to travel to approx half of those countries as Israel considers them enemy states, and many of them are still part of the pre-israeli state arab league boycott (circa late 1940's), i think that might be why there is not outrage and marches against it.

The former President talking about American values which always seems to me to be about bombing people out of their homes, creating refugees and providing terrorist groups with more recruits.
