Ref. post no. 1000
I often think hat it would be appropriate for winston churchill and 'butcher' harris to be remembered as war criminals, rather than as 'heroes'. It is possible that a close relative of mine is at present going under the pseudonym 'soldier F' for allegedly killing two civilians. Count the number of women and children killed in Dresden and Leipzig at the end of WW2, while churchill and his cronies were dividing Europe up between them.

I hate to resort to ‘whataboutery’ but have you also considered Tony Blair and his decision to pursue the Iraq war against legal advice?

There are always tragic deaths to so many when there is a war and we were virtually in a war situation in N.I. at that time.
Civilians get killed or hurt when in the wrong place at the wrong time, soldiers can make mistakes when under pressure or even frightened for the safety of others or themselves.
Only if both sides are held accountable years later for their actions and errors of judgement can justice be seen as fair.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Back on topic, I see JC stole the trifle and fizzy drinks leaving Farage with the flat beer, stale sandwiches and sour grapes at the Peterborough party. Pooper!
