Picture of her. On another site attending Merchant Navy Day.You cannot comment as she blocks people.Whats my point. It was not an occasion for a selfie picture.Yes you get a picture of DDC Chairman or the Dover Mayor But they are never posed. They will be laying a wreath with dignity.Im sick of her attending events for selfie pictures.Charlie used to attend but he never made it a photo call .He would mingle with people.Of course she did not wear a hat .

There are times when I think she only ever attends a Dover event for the staged photo.
If she stands again that will mean a large number of lost votes from those who voted for her or her party last election, me included.

Just before chris does
She is a poor MP
But local labour are having quite a bun fight so unlikely to unseat her .
Grim day for Dover politics

This photo call thing is a complete nonsense, the only difference between Natalie and Charlie, or any other politician for that matter, is that she is deliberately posing for the photo. while most go with the make it look natural and unposed look.
Obviously it works though and fools some people, but don't think it makes them any better or different to the rest. At least Natalie is showing a hit of honesty and not pretending.

My own opinion is that the MP is no different to any other past Dover MPs
I go back to G Prosser who used the press well and always having planned photo shoots .
I think it's more about what's she doing in the interests of Dover people that becomes very questionable.
Sadly we have poor alternatives

Name of the game. I. Have to say I think Gwynne & his operation surpassed the rest. His PA known as the Black Knight-to us locally was superb.

Like I say prosser used the press in the same way
Missing as a cllr for four years but had other ambitions .
Have to say , apart from a few hard line Tories , I don't hear much support for Elphicke .
Thing is the blue rinse brigade go out and vote even if they don't know who the candidate is !
Labour voters tend not to

I see the prospective Labour Candidate for Dover And Deal was out and about in Deal at the weekend .

I ventured to Deal at the weekend and couldn't believe how packed it was. I remember when it was a sleepy town you could visit for a peaceful day out now its crazy busy and parking is a nightmare.
Mike Tapp looks a good candidate but I just wonder if he has enough local knowledge of Dover & Deal to say and do the right things to appeal to the voters.

Our present MP should have enough knowledge of the town but apart from her supporters does not seem to appeal to many of us more open minded voters. I want an MP to represent the whole area not just her party pals.

Don’t be so sure. For love of money I cannot recall where Charlie Came from before he was elected as our MP.I was on the interview panel first round that is then he went through on a second round.I cannot recall what he knew about DOVER and Deal .or if he lived here.So the fact the chap standing for Labour Currently does not live here is irrelevant.I just know Natalie was the only Candidate when Charlie had to stand down.

Just seen Natalie in No10, front row, clapping and cheering for Boris as he leaves. I wonder how many people will cheer her when she loses her post next election

Perhaps she was there to make certain he did actually leave. But there again, probably not.

I wonder if she will now get some kind of job loyalty reward from Truss in the reshuffle.
