So, even if Brexit party wins a few seats
Then we leave
Then I presume all these seats are given up?
Brexit party then had to decide where it goes next

I suspect as we will not be entitled to be there our MEPs will be defunct as will the Brexit party, job done I hope.

If we do end up leaving the EU then we are NOT entitled to seats in the European Parliament, so all the MEPs elected today lose their seats on the day we officially cease to be members; also if we leave before 26th May 2020 then they will not be entitled to a severance payment or EU pension.
As to what happens to the likes of UKIP The Brexit Party and Farage at that point we will need to wait and see, but knowing how egotistical, needy and attention seeking Farage is he may linger like the proverbial bad smell.

We should have already gone. But when we do finally go then Farage will be finished and someone will emerge as a populist remainer.
It is very easy to take the masses with you when you are solely focused on one objective and not hindered by policies. Even as a Brexiteer I realise that the EU will divide our country for the best part of this century. Over the past three years there has been no attempt to reconcile both sides, the divisiveness has got more extreme.

Brian
Obviously you are blinkered because youngish to remain
In reality we will go
Probably with a poor deal because of the lack of leadership over past 3years
And a poor opposition
Farage will remain because of all the divisions
Not much is done. In the interest of UK residents

Oh FFS the deal we have been offered, as opposed to the political declaration, is the only deal in town.
In the absence of any political leadership our civil servants have got the best deal possible from the EU to leave.
There is no better deal available.
Once we officially leave, we can then start to negotiate not only trade deals with others, but also our future relationship with the EU, maybe this is the deal everyone is talking about, or maybe they are still living in the past when the sun never set on Empire and we enjoyed living off the backs of others and think because we are pretty miffed the EU will wilt and give us anything and everything.

keith, I am neither youngish or blinkerd in my views.
there is no real deal to worry about, only a hash up. the only sensible soloution is revoking article 50, get a prime minister who is bloody minded enough to get on with proper negosations.

Maybe we should have started the whole thing with cross party discussions and then told the EU our demands rather than giving in to their demands from the start.

Button is quite right. The deal we have been offered, is as good as it gets. As we have always said, the Ireland border issue is simply insurmountable - once we leave, it represents the EU's outer border with a third country. That is the undeniable truth. No amount of jumping up and down, chest thumping, tea drinking and keeping calm and carrying on will change that.
