Can't let Clair and her merry bunch get all the glory, this Saturday 12th from 10.00 we'll be outside the Town Council offices in Dover, handing out leaflets and answering any questions you may have.
Look forward to seeing you all

I'd hardly describe them as merry. Every time I pass them they look quite glum until the inevitable selfie which is invariably uploaded to twitter with the group wearing their happy, smiling workers face.
Don't even question their ideas. Instantly they will ask you which branch of UKIP you belong to as they have been instructed to by labour central office. It never works, by the way, guys. It just shows exposes the robotic nature of labour activism.

local ukip are now getting into full swing, their facebook page is now regularly updated and the benefits of getting out and meeting the public cannot be overestimated.
the reds and blues have sitting councillors at all 3 levels so they have the advantage over ukip but only the reds choose to make themselves known to dover people on a set basis.

I am so glad to be out of all this now .
Sorry but when I see any party out in the streets now we turn and go back wrong to do that? may be but I have no wish to talk to any party members not voting anymore so no point in talking.
never did I think it would come to a time I would say that but it has come.

That's a shame Vic I'm sure you have plenty to offer to people like me new to politics.
You could kill two birds with one stone, give me a bit of advice and hand over the money you have.
A win win situation.

David - Vic isn't going to respond to your and Peter's request for a return of the UKIP money he his holding; I don't know why he isn't, but there must come a time when your patience is exhausted.

I guess that time will come Roger but like you I have principles.
Pop down for a chat on Saturday if you're around, be good to catch up.

If I'm in a good mood I'll tell you about the district councillor who contacted Peter last week, just for a chat of course.

Going on my pass record I have nothing to offer or advice that I have not said in the pass and even then I do not know if it was god advice.
You will find your own way round when it comes to politics.
That's how I done it over many years.

I will not be down the town on Saturday with the FA cup on the old box and I am also painting up my bunker ready for the summer weeks ahead and still more planting out to do all this takes time when most has to be done siting down but I love doing it much much better then talking politics any day done all that in the pass time to move away from it.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Nice to see you again Howard and also to meet Jan. Thanks also for the photos!
Shame that I missed Brian though, not sure however that the rumour was true that he walked away holding two UKIP balloons and a membership application form?
