(#119) 'Potted' indeed. Positively stoned.
'Donkeys' went from partygate to Russiagate without skipping a beat. I doubt that before 24 Feb he, like most people, even knew where Ukraine was, let alone cared.
As for Fleming (#120), that must be guff for public consumption, as I cannot believe that any serious intelligence assessment of Russian strategy and the military situation could be so badly off. '...a city in the North' ffs.

Yup. Always look forward to who is the audience.
Rumsfeld stated: Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know.
In this case how much of which we know do we allow the opposition that we know? It's worked well so far?

Usual cutting, factual analysis. And that pun on 'potted'! Wow! Such shining wit.

Read the reports from Ukraine. Do we just carry on watching war crimes? Are there any 'red lines'? Not going to spell it out but much the same when Russia 'liberated' Germany .....

The thing that worries me is if Nato is shipping defensive kit to the Ukraine will we have any left to defend the Baltic States if it all kicks off big-time?

Whilst it was admirable that Boris Johnson visited Kyiv recently, albeit once Putin was bored (for the time being) with Kyiv, I do wish that Boris cared as much for his British citizens at home as he appears to for Ukrainians?

Guess which provides more pictures and possibly diverts attention from the Chancellor and his wife.

Either the 'chiefs' are warning Macron and Scholz they've been pranked by Vovan & Lexus, or Colombian shipments are unaffected...
While at the Mail they're relying on home grown...

Beware possibly THE story of summer: Putin cuts gas supplies to Europe to stop replenishing for winter + plunge it into recession.
No gas coming thru Yamal pipeline for 2 months
Nord Stream 1 was at 40% capacity. Now zero for “maintenance”. What chance not switched on again?

The lamps are going out all over Europe, we shall not see them lit again in our life-time: from the front page of today's Telegraph 'Europeans were yesterday advised by Brussels to switch off lights and turn down air-conditioning amid mounting fears of a "likely" cut-off of Russian gas supplies to the continent.'

:- Germany has already begun turning off street lights in Berlin while Hanover will shut off hot water in public buildings. Oktoberfest and Christmas markets also face being scrapped, politicians have admitted, and breweries could be closed.
In Austria, the city of Linz has stopped lighting historic landmarks at night while Salzburg is drawing up plans to follow suit.

Other news sources suggest that
A) Lighting on public buildings & Monuments is being switched off
B) Street lighting is being dimmed NOT switched off
C) Berlin is rolling out "smart/on-demand" street lighting
D) The German government is encouraging the replacement of shower heads with ones that use less water
E) Vinovia Germany's largest landlord is lowering the maximum temperature of overnight heating in its rental complexes

P.S. Whilst many UK based/owned outlets are pushing the same line as the Daily Mail, it is interesting to note that bizarrely both The Express & The Guardian have reported that the UK is also going to follow suit on dimming street lights & Switching off lighting on public buildings - funny how they can do this to save money due to rising wholesale prices but seemed incapable of doing it to reduce energy consumption in response to climate change.
