Dixons store in Dover is to become Currys.digital. All six staff will retain their jobs.
Dover is one of 190 Dixons shops throughout the country which will make the change to Currys.digital, offering shoppers what the company descrtibes as "unprecedented choice and convenience".
Over the coming months the Dover Dixons store, in Biggin Street, will undergo a makeover, emerging as Currys.digital offering nearly twice the number of products, including kitchen gadgets and large white goods, while retaining a strong focus on the latest digital technology.
The store, which opened in 1979, currently employs six staff who will automatically transfer to Currys as part of the process.
