Three new members were elected to Dover Town Council at by-elections on Thursday, 9 February. The vacancies followed the resignations of two councillors and the disbarring of a third who had not attended any meetings within a statutory time limit.
Stephen Burt and Gordon Cowan have been elected for the Town and Pier Ward and Bobby Royston has been elected at Maxton, Elms Vale and Priory Ward. All three are Labour representatives.
The town council is now made up of 12 Labour and six Independent councillors.
