Resurfacing work begins this week on the A256 York Street, Dover, to try and make the road safer leading up to the Folkestone Road roundabout.
Under the £30,000 scheme, road markings will be replaced or renewed and high friction surfacing will also be added to both the York Street and Folkestone Road approaches to the roundabout.
Kent Highway Services will start the works on Tuesday 12 December and they are expected to last up to four days. Temporary traffic management systems will be in place throughout the works and lane closures will be necessary in York Street.
For more information about the scheme, please telephone the Kent Highways Helpline on 08458 247800.
