Dover District Council has confirmed Council Tax for the district at its meeting last night (7 March). The element of the Council Tax bill for Dover District Council is to increase by 4.95%, meaning an increase of £6.64 to £140.80 per year for Band D properties. The average total bill for a Band D property in Dover District will be £1,326.44, an increase of £63.00 or 4.99%. This includes the element of Council Tax for Kent County Council (£964.17), Kent Police Authority (£122.18), the Fire Authority (£61.65) and an average Parish precept of £37.64.
