A man has been pushed into the River Dour during what police describe as racially-motivated assault in Pencsester Gardens, Dover.
The attack happened at 3.15pm on Sunday, 10 June, when a 33-year-old British man of Asian appearance was subjected to racial abuse and then pushed hard in the chest, causing him to fall into the river.
The offender is described as a white man, in his mid 20s, about six feet one inch tall, of medium build, with short dark blonde hair. He was clean shaven and had a local accent. He was wearing a white zip sweat shirt and a white t-shirt with a red pattern on it.
Det Con Rebecca Lown said: "This was an unprovoked, racist assault on a man who was minding his own business. The offender needs to be caught and dealt with."
