Police in Dover are appealing for witnesses to an incident where a 29-year-old local man was assaulted with a knife during a fight with two men.

The assault took place on Tuesday afternoon (31 July) just before 12.30 pm in London Road Dover at the junction with Beaconsfield Road.

The victim has been treated for a stab wound to his chest area at Kings College Hospital in London and is said to be in a stable condition.
