Police were called to Cherry Tree Avenue, Dover at 8.40pm on Monday night (29 Jan) following reports of an armed robbery at the LONDIS store.
A man had threatened staff with a large knife and stolen packets of cigarettes. No one was injured during the incident.
Police made enquiries in the local area to find the alleged offender.
At 12.50am today (Tuesday 30 January) Police arrested two men on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. A 33-year-old man from Liverpool and a 38-year-old man from Dover are currently detained in custody at Dover Police Station.
