As part of their ongoing commitment to ensure a high quality public realm, Dover District Council is looking at how partners in the community continue to work to keep our streets and public open spaces clean, well maintained and safe - and your views are sought.
To progress this work, they need to know what is important to you, and how we can all work together to make a cleaner, and more attractive district. A short questionnaire has been produced, and all feedback will be analysed and incorporated into any recommendations to the Council. A further public survey will be conducted on any proposals on the street scene.
Cllr Nigel Collor, Cabinet Member for Access and Property Management said: "Dover district is on the brink of transformational regeneration that will affect every resident, business and visitor. DDC is working hard with our partners to regenerate the district in a sustainable way for a world class future of strong economic growth within safe and sustainable communities. The provision of a clean, safe, accessible and attractive street scene environment will contribute towards this vision. We want to hear what people want from the street scene and we look forward to hearing your views."
The questionnaire is available online at www.dover.gov.uk/streetscene. If you require a hard copy of this survey, please contact Dianne Hopper on 01304 216860. The closing date for the receipt of completed survey forms is 19 May 2008.
