Residents are invited to come along and talk about opportunities for young people in the area, and how Dover District Council and Kent Youth Service work with young people for the future, at the next Dover North Neighbourhood Forum. The meeting is on Wednesday 16 July at Burgoyne Heights Community Centre, Guston, from 7pm.
Kent County Council's Youth Service representatives will give a short presentation about their work and how the district and county work together to improve young people's experiences and quality of life. Dover District Council's Youth Officer, Yvonne Holder, will discuss the new Youth Strategy for the district and how young people can get involved. Carolyn Flynn from Kent County Council's Youth Opportunity Fund will talk about the grant opportunities available for young people.
There will be an opportunity for round the table discussions with the presenters. Doors open from 6.30pm with light refreshments and an opportunity to meet your local County, District and Parish Councillors and other Forum members.
