As part of the 2009 Festival of British Archaeology, Dover Museum and Bronze Age Boat Gallery will be holding a morning of free lectures on the subject of the 3,500 year old Dover boat on Monday 20 July. The experts who found, conserved, reconstructed and displayed the boat will give a series of short lectures in the Roundhouse Theatre at Dover Discovery Centre, and be on hand to answer questions in the Gallery.
The lectures in the Roundhouse Theatre are as follows:
10.30am - Keith Parfitt - The Discovery of the Dover Bronze Age Boat
11.00am - Peter Clark - Conserving and Reconstructing the Dover Boat
11.30am - Jon Iveson - Displaying the Bronze Age Boat
