As part of their ongoing work to provide help and support in these challenging times, Dover District Council and Citizens Advice Bureau have launched a new initiative - and a member of the Health and Well-being Team at the Council now works in the Citizens Advice Bureau in Dover between 9.30am and 3pm every Monday.
Joint working means specialist advice on Housing and Council Tax Benefits will be available from the CAB offices in Maison Dieu Gardens, as well as a wide range of other services offered by the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Council.
Brinley Hill, DDC Community Development Manager said: "We are very pleased to be working in partnership with Citizens Advice Bureau for the health and well being of members of the community. Joint working with CAB gives us the opportunity to help ensure people receive the best possible support in these difficult, challenging times."
