As part of their commitment to ensure high quality streets and public spaces, Dover District Council is working closely with the community and partner agencies and has developed a draft Street Scene Strategy - and your views are sought.
The draft strategy has been developed following a range of consultation with the community and other agencies, and the Council has been looking at what is important to communities, and how they can all work together to make a cleaner and more attractive district. This includes incorporating a range of feedback, including a special questionnaire, and a series of discussions at Neighbourhood Forums across the district.
Dover District Council continues to work with all their partners to further improve quality of life and regenerate the district in a sustainable way for the future. The Street Scene Strategy has been developed to help provide a more coordinated approach to a range of work shaping our public spaces for the future of the district.
Ideally, comments are sought by 5 February. However, the Council will take into account comments received up to 4 March 2009. For more information, please see the DDC website at www.dover.gov.uk, or hard copies can be viewed at DDC offices.
